Studio Wyld is a garden and landscape design studio based between London and West Sussex.
The studio, founded by Rachel Wyld works on variety of projects across the UK and abroad specialising in the making of gardens that are uniquely personal to the client and hold a sense of place. Still in its infancy, Rachel is developing a studio style that balances the formal and informal, combining traditional design principles with naturalistic planting palettes.
Rachel Wyld
Rachel has over a decade of experience in spatial design following a degree in Fine Art: Sculpture at City and Guilds of London Art School.
Whilst working as Artist in Residence for property developer Vastint UK Rachel developed her love of designing spaces that celebrate a sense of place and ignite the imagination.
In 2020 Rachel re-trained in Garden Design at The English Gardening School under the guidance of her grandmother Rosemary Alexander. Soon after she joined renowned landscape architect Arabella Lennox-Boyd, where she worked on a variety of high profile projects across the UK and abroad.
In 2023 Rachel moved to Richard Mier’s studio, working on large country estate projects in the South East before setting up Studio Wyld in 2025.
Rachel has also worked on a series of projects with design and build company Marylebone Garden Co. working on masterplans and planting plans.
